What is an orb? What does a genuine orb look like?
One of the most controversial aspects of paranormal evidence is the ORB. I know this photo will spark a lot of opinions about the whole orb debate. As in yesterday’s discussion; it brings more questions to the table about the use of digital cameras with regard to providing credible paranormal evidence.
There are a lot of people out there that will be disappointed to hear that the globes seen in this photo are not orbs but, millions of moisture and or dust particles reflecting in the camera’s flash. Rarely does the use of a camera’s flash yield anything that would be even considered as paranormal unless the camera is equipped with special filters to counter effects like this. Orbs such as this, thought to be a ghostly spirits, went almost entirely undetected until digital cameras came into the picture.
Are orbs real? Well I can’t say for certain but, the most experienced ghost hunters say that orbs don’t require a flash to be seen because they contain their own energy and are self illuminating. Which means they can not only be seen with the naked eye but, also captured on your camera without the use of the flash.
