Good Friday/Easter Information.

Some "Good Friday/Easter" info from your friends at 11:11 Awakening Code....

Do you know why there is such a huge variance as to when Easter weekend occurs? Here's the scoop: Easter Sunday is always the first Sunday that follows the first full moon that follows the Spring Equinox, got that? So it could be as early as March 22nd or as late as April 27th (which would be a whole lunar cycle plus one week following the spring equinox).

And have you ever wondered about the mashup between Christian Resurrection and Easter Bunnies, eggs and flowers? Well, as with Christmas, Easter has become a Christian/Pagan holiday. The very word "Easter" comes from the Pagan word "Eostre" which was a celebration of new life symbolized by prolific rabbits, hatching eggs and budding flowers. Early Christians knew that they weren't going to stop people from celebrating Eostre, so they simply combined their resurrection celebration on top of it.

However you celebrate, we send you blessings on this very good Friday!
