The mid winter full moon occurs in February and is known as the Wolf Moon (English), Snow Moon (Algonquian), Magh Purnima (Hindu), and Navam Poya (Sinhala). On February 25th, the sun sets at 5:44 pm and the moon rises at 5:59 pm. This is just about the best night to view the moon at its fullest as it rises. This Full Moon is in Virgo and denotes " Embracing the Healing Cycle" - or to allow healing to pass through us and out into the world. And as we do so, our prayer could be that the healing we receive will heal the whole just as much as it heals us. And in healing the whole, our own healing will finally be complete.
